AluminiumConductor Alloy Reinforced (ACAR) is formed by concentrically stranded wires of aluminium 1350onhigh strength Al-Ma-Sialloy core. The number of wires of aluminum1350 &aluminium alloy 6201depends on the cable design.ACAR hasbetter mechanical and electrical properties as compared to an equivalent ACSR, AAC or AAAC, which extensively used in overhead transmission and distribution lines.

AAC Conductor Application

AAC is used mainly in urban areas where the spacing is short and the supports are close. Class AA for bare conductors used in overhead lines. Class A conductors to be covered with weather-resistant materials and for bare conductors where greater flexibility are required.

Application :

Used as bare overhead conductor for primary and secondary distribution. Designed for utilizing a high-strength aluminum-alloy to achieve a high strength-to-weight ratio; affords good sag characteristics.

(1)AAAC conductors are extensively used for overhead distribution and transmission lines adjacent to ocean coastlines where there can be a problem of corrosion in the steel of an ACSR construction.

(2)The aluminum alloy conductors are used in replace of single-layer ACSR conductors to reduce power loss in overhead distribution and transmission lines,when replacing the aluminum conductor steel reinforced , the AAAC can save 5-8% of the construction cost.

(3)AAAC referred to have higher strength but lower conductivity than pure aluminum. Being lighter, alloy conductors can sometimes be used to replace the conventional ACSR.

ACSR Conductor Application

ACSR conductors have been widely used in power transmission lines with various voltage levels, because they have such good

characteristics as simple structure, convenient insulation and maintenance, low cost large transmission capacity. And they are

also suitable for laying across rivers valleys and the places where special geographical features exist.

Packing:

--100m/Coil with Shrinking Film Wrap,  6 Coils per outer carton.

--100m/Spool, spool can be Paper, Plastic, or ABS, then 3-4 spools per carton,

--200m or 250m per Drum, two drums per carton,

--305m/Wooden Drum, one drum per outer carton or pallet loading,

--500m/Wooden Drum, one drum per outer carton or pallet loading,

--1000m or 3000m wooden drum, then pallet loading.

*We can also offer customized OEM packing according to clients' request.

Delivery:

Port: Tianjin, or other ports as per your requirements.

Sea freight: FOB/C&F/CIF quotation are all available.

*For some countries such as Africa countries, middle east countries, our sea freight quotation is much cheaper than clients get from local shipping agency.

Advantage:

1. AAAC has large mechanical resistance than AAC which permits its use as a bare overhead conductor on aerial circuits for power transmission and distribution lines.

2. AAAC has better sag characteristics and strength to weight ratio as compared to AAC.

3. AAAC weight per unit and resistance is also lower which gives it advantage over the ACSR. Also, AAAC conductor has better corrosion protection than ASCR conductors..
