DAYA Disconnector Sf6 Circuit Breaker Details

Disconnectors in high voltage GIS operate at SF6 pressures of 0.38 MPa to 0.45 MPa. This is how disconnectors are operated inside SF6 filled switchgears (GIS). The operating speed of the disconnector moving contact ranges from 0.1 to 0.3 m/sec.

Siemens Energy has developed a device in which the isolating distance has been integrated in the SF6 gas compartment in order to reduce external environmental influences. The DCB (Disconnecting Circuit Breaker) is used as a circuit breaker and also as a disconnector – two functions combined in one device. An additional air-insulated earthing switch can be mounted onto the supporting structure for voltages up to 145 kV.

DAYA Disconnector Sf6 Circuit Breaker  Conditions for normal operating environment:

1. Ambient air temperature: -5~+40 and the average temperature should not exceed +35 in 24h.

2. Install and use indoors. Altitude above sea level for operation site should not exceed 2000M.

3. Relative humidity should not exceed 50% at max temperature +40. Higher relative humidity is allowed at lower temperature. Ex. 90% at +20. But in view of the temperature change, it is possible that moderate dews will produce casually.

4. Installation gradient not exceed 5.

5. Install in the places without fierce vibration and shock and the sites insufficient to erode the electrical components.
